“BIENVENUE EN FRANCE” CERTIFICATION: 89 INSTITUTIONS CERTIFIED

In the wake of the 5th Certification Commission gathering on May 28 2020 the conferences of institutions (CPU, CDEFI, CGE), HCERES, CTI and Campus France, 89 institutions are now certified with the “Bienvenue en France” (Welcome to France) certification.

As part of the “Bienvenue en France” Strategy, Campus France was charge with the responsibility to implement the “Bienvenue en France” certification, which determines a quality standard for the welcoming policy of foreign students’ in French higher education institution.

In the wake of the 5th Certification Commission gathering on May 28 2020 the conferences of institutions (CPU, CDEFI, CGE), HCERES, CTI and Campus France, 89 institutions are now certified with the “Bienvenue en France” (Welcome to France) certification.

This Certification aims at being an tool for information for international students about the real welcome conditions in our institutions, a promotion tool for international students listing initiatives taken by institutions in this industry, and a quality process to improve greeting arrangements in institutions.

So far, 183 higher education institutions are institutionally engaged in a certification process. 107 of them filed their self-assessment, and 89 were certified after the certification commissions held on July 1st, October 16, December 4 2019, February 13 and May 28 2020.

The 183 institutions include: 67 universities and ComUE - EPE, 58 engineering schools, 29 business & management schools, 8 art schools, 6 Grands Etablissements, 6 language schools, 4 gastronomy schools, 3 catholic institutions, 1 international organisation, 1 specialised school.
